I have been using FeMap with Nx Natran with the Solid coming from the Solid Edge Fabrication model Assembly and Stress Linearization within Femap. This is more of an ASME approach.

Hi, I have tried the exact same method for extending the the nozzle to touch the cylinder and create the surface but it is not working. Can you suggest another method?
It can happen for whatever reason. Sometimes it helps if you close the software and just open it back up and then it worked for me. Not sure why that happens...

Thanks for this tutorial! It looks that the rotating pole is increasing in diameter when rotating from side to side. Does it have something to do with RBE2 definition?
Yes it does. Most likely they are not defined at the same center

Would removing the fillets affect the results of a modal analysis? How can you account for fillets with a midsurface?
Hi I am quite new with FEMAP, as you said FEMAP is unit less so how can I know that the force apply is in Newton?
There is an option where you select the unit system: SI or English and from there on it automatically implements the units. You just need to remember the base units when you enter something. Like for example it will take pressure as Pascals, so don't accidentally assume kilo Pascals and enter atmospheric pressure as 101 instead of 101000.
What are the units for the results, sir? MPa, Kgf or others..
Femap is unitless (This is by far the worst thing that I hate about Femap). You need to set up SI settings and from there it just automatically calculates things without units. You as the user are responsible for interpreting the units correctly. Try downloading the user manual. It will help you understand it better.

It's hard to tell, but most likely an issue with the points where you have your supports assigned
but it says its one half the original so didnt volume increased? im so confused nec i found one solution that did with increased volume and one with decreased volume whichis the correct one?
The second state is half the size of what originally was

I think these videos are a great tool to get you started, but the Femap user guide books can be of good use if you need to look into things further!
